How cute!!!

So the movie was adorable. All 5 of us watched intently and had a LOTS of good laughs. Movies before 6pm were only a dollar, so it was only $5 for all of us to get in! Keenan was VERY well behaved for 2 1/2. He started getting edgy about 10 minutes from the end. Otherwise we paid too much $$$ for popcorn drinks & raisinets. All in all, it was a small price to pay for a much needed family outing. Next time we baggie our own popcorn and snacks, take bottled drinks and we'll be set!

What a weekend.....

And it's not over yet! Yesterday we went to a few places. I got some new clothes (very much needed), and we got a few more things for the house. We took a family walk around our neighborhood, spent some time outside- the kids playing and Hubba & I playing darts (I kicked his bumbum- hehe!! But, shhhh, don't say anything....). I replaced all the door stoppers throughout the house today, and Hubba-bubba spent some one on one time with Tristen, also much needed. Laundry is nearing the caught up point which is a BEEYOOTIFUL thing. We found The Cars playing at a "dollar theatre." More like $1.75, but for a family of 5, well within our budget! We will be paying less for all 5 of us (assuming they charge for Keenan at a rockin' age of 2.66), than just ONE adult to a regular priced theatre. That begins in 1 hour 15 minutes. Afterwards, we will be visiting a new Mexican restaurant. I cannot wait, I LOVE Mexican food! I found a $5 off $25 order for the restaurant. Afte...

10 days ago.....

Was my birthday. I was showered with pressies! MIL invited us to her house for dinner on Sunday (the day before my birthday). By the time to roll on came around, DH and I had had such a horrible few things go on, that we decided for the good of the family & her, not to go. I felt really bad, and worse yet, when he had to stop by her house on Tuesday to pick up my drill that I left in her car a few days before (remind me to tell you our horrible experience with Pep Boys). She sent home a cake she'd bought for us to enjoy Sunday as well as gifts. A 10-piece (even though she didn't realise til she was wrapping it that it was actually a NINE piece set- like me, she buys gifts MONTHS in advance) tool set & a $30 GC to TJMaxx. From FIL & SMIL I rec'd a card and a $30 check which I spent restocking our fish tank. I've really missed having a big beautifu l fishy tank. We had my one last Bronze Cory in a 5-gal tank. We didn't have anywhere to put the 30-gal, ...

I know you guys are getting impatient!

So without further adieu...... I present the episode of the lost camera cord.... moving and other intricacies (like the kid I found as I opened a box! LOL)..... All names other than our family's have been changed to protect the criminal, er, innocent I mean! *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Here are a few shots of the kids helping me pack and "such." LOL Keenan making the most of boxes..... Tristen defrosting the freezer.... Oh MOM!!! It's sooooo heavy!!! (The box is empty BTW!) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Friday night (9-1), DH and I were sitting outside talking and he was on the phone to his friend, Mike who still works for the same company he used to. This small box truck comes down the road. I start laughing at the irony, thinking it was someone else moving and mebbe lost or the ppl across the road had a roomie moving out or something. DH starts laughing REALLY hard, like a almost in joyous tears laugh, when it hit me. It was Mik...

I really want to blog, honest.....

I need your help though. If you were a camera cord, and your masters had just moved, where would you be? Please let me know via the comments box. I have umpteen pics to load of the move, and nary a one can I load to the computer. On a side note, as time permits, I will make this here blog purtiful again. I switched to Beta and in doing so, had to scarifice all my hard work. Love to you all & I expect to see some ideas about my cord! LOL, Blessings!

Back from moving, random drawings and HS'ing to commence soon!

First of all, I'm back online from moving. I am still writing and downloading pics to enter a HUGE blog entry. All this among unpacking and organising. So please be patient with me. Amy is running a random drawing . I shouldn't be directing you, as you're entry will make my winning chances plummet, but I'm feeling sacrificial today! *LOL* When you're done with her entry, check out the rest of her site. She's a wonderful, funny and inspirational lady. And now that we have moved, I have been working on the HS room. I'm hoping we'll be functioning just enough at least, to start! Yippee!! Have a blessed weekend. See you probably no sooner than next week!

Boxes boxes everywhere.....

We have been SUCH a bizzy household the past few days. To be expected, of course. I can't wait til we get settled & I have some more time, so I can to toss some pics of the kids on here for you. I've gotten some really cute ones. We're getting the truck Saturday & Hubba-bubba's employers have "hired" someone to help us move. I'm so happy. Hubba-bubba isn't getting any younger (his words, NOT mine!) and he was worried about his strength to endure this move. So far the email to the church secretary and the call to the youth director has unveiled no one to help us out & a couple ppl we thought would be able to help have to work. They haven't been able to budge their schedules and it's not looking promising that they will. Hubba-bubba took the signed lease to the LL tonight and got the key. He is on his way home, with a couple of stops at 2 Dollar Generals to look for boxes and to pick up his darling & beautiful, yet parched wife (t...
