I've come to realise how absolutely
I am. Yes, there is still so much I take for granted, but I try to make a conscious effort to be thankful and grateful everyday for everything. Yesterday was one of those kick in the guts moments when I realised what I have. I was supposed to take cupcakes to the church for the Feed-the-hungry program they do at the Good News House on Thursdays. Well, I got sick Tuesday, have been a nervous wreck about joining the church this coming Sunday, found out my brother may have been going into the hospital (which he is now) and DH was uber upset about his day at work, yada yada yada. And.... well..... I forgot
. I sat down to eat dinner and kept thinking that I had yummy warm food, a place to sleep and a wonderful family full of
and I failed someone that has so much less than I. And I couldn't eat.
So PLEASE count your blessings, no matter how small! There is ALWAYS someone that has it worse than you somewhere out there!
On a side note, if you would please add my brother and my parents to your prayers, I'd appreciate it!
