An answer to a prayer?

We're still praying on that one! Last night the Hubba went to look at the following house. He really likes it. We're hoping to go take a gander with me and the kiddos in tow this afternoon. The house is 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, LR, Family room, eat-in kithcen, dining room, large wash closet (if I understood Hubba correctly) & an entry way (here the front door opens into the living room). It has a basement as well, with a finished bonus room. The following are just pics of the front of the house and the kitchen. I figured I wouldn't bore you with the other 23 pictures he brought home of it for me, since I was unable to check it out myself last night. 2 of which are of his lovely feet *giggle* Ya gotta love a man that thinks to take pics of the carpet for his wife.

Otherwise in "Dear God, It's Just Me Kayla"-dom, the 6:30 am Mean Mommy bit worked. They were all asleep well before 11 o'clock that night.

Meredith, my cream of tartar, while cheaper than the McCormick-Schilling aisle of goodies, is still a mite more than I like to spend. I pay $2.78 when I get it off the spinner in the produce section. The baggie of the lush white powder is 1.75 oz. Just enough for 2 batches of playdough and 1 batch of Master Mix. I will be checking out the price though next time I or my Mother-In-Law goes to BJ's warehouse. She was able to score a 2-pound pkg of Fleischmann's Yeast for less then 4 bucks for me last time she went. God bless that woman (Yes, I get along with all 4 in-law's, but we'll save that for another entry!)! I'm working on digging up recipes for playdough that do not use CoT. I know I have them, but they could be packed.

And for our family, friends and readers that have kept us in their prayers faithfully.......

Have a Blessed & Fruitful weekend! In His name,

The much requested COUPON BINDER! A how-to pictorial

First you start with a LARGE 3-ring binder . I was able to get about a dozen of these for 50-75¢ each at a thrift shoppe, brand new. Mine are from a business complete with logo, but that's ok. 50-75¢ sure beats 8 bucks at Wal-mart. Plus mine DOES have a front pocket, in case I want to make it a bit purtier. Some people prefer a zippered binder. These are GREAT if you can afford the dough for a LARGE one. This one is especially great as it has a handle for carrying. You'll also need some pocket pages . I prefer the 4-per-page pages. The pockets are a little bigger, which is GREAT for those LONG coupons (which stick out, so I fold them in half) and those WIDE coupons, and especially for holding more coupons than their miniature counterparts! Now others have had luck with other pages. They come in 1-pocket (also known as sheet protectors, which we'll be using as well- we'll get to that later), 2 pocket, 4-pocket, 5-pocket, 6-pocket, 8-pocket; 9-pocke t. Anything with more...

I've moved!!!

In order to simplify, I'll be getting rid of most of my blogs & just downsizing my internet network. We've made a move that you can read about at my new blog, but suffice to say- we're beginning a new life, in a new state, new job, etc. So if you want to hear more about it, Meet me in Wyoming . Don't forget to update your bookmarks!!!
