Well it's somewhat overcast today.....

But is supposedly near 70º today. Forecast for rain and then a plummet in temps. We'll see....

I have a nummy din-din going in the crockpot- potato soup. HubbaBubba asked for grilled cheese sarnis and soup this week on the mennie, so am obliging the hunka burnin' cutiepie and making his fave soup along side those requested sarnis. The soup is a new recipe. If it turns out nicely, I'll post the recipe on the recipe blog. I need to post a recipe soon; it's been awhile.

So today I have been blessed with many things, even though it is girly time for me & a massive migraine has rendered me darn near useless.

1- God
2- The crockpot
3- A hardworkin', easily pleased (usually) husband
4- the sheer "luck" that I postponed my visit with my Mum & Dad til Wednesday (He sure know what He's doin', huh?)
5- A full pantry
6- A full freezer
7- White chocolate macadamia nut popcorn
8- Relatively quiet children today
9- Satellite for "babysitting" the kids today
10- Friends, both online & off...

MMMMM......something in the air with grilled cheese and potato soup. Makes me want to take a poll and see beyond the three of us, who is having that for dinner tonite?

The much requested COUPON BINDER! A how-to pictorial

First you start with a LARGE 3-ring binder . I was able to get about a dozen of these for 50-75¢ each at a thrift shoppe, brand new. Mine are from a business complete with logo, but that's ok. 50-75¢ sure beats 8 bucks at Wal-mart. Plus mine DOES have a front pocket, in case I want to make it a bit purtier. Some people prefer a zippered binder. These are GREAT if you can afford the dough for a LARGE one. This one is especially great as it has a handle for carrying. You'll also need some pocket pages . I prefer the 4-per-page pages. The pockets are a little bigger, which is GREAT for those LONG coupons (which stick out, so I fold them in half) and those WIDE coupons, and especially for holding more coupons than their miniature counterparts! Now others have had luck with other pages. They come in 1-pocket (also known as sheet protectors, which we'll be using as well- we'll get to that later), 2 pocket, 4-pocket, 5-pocket, 6-pocket, 8-pocket; 9-pocke t. Anything with more...
