Friday Feast

Appetizer
Tell about a time when you had to be brave.

I guess I SHOULD have been brave when my oldest was born and had to stay at the hospital, with a zero chance of survival. But I wasn't. I was weak. I was scared, and I was furious with God (pre-NewBeginning days!)

I guess I SHOULD have been brave when my youngest went in for surgery at just 1 year old. But I wasn't. I was weak, I was scared, and I cried the ENTIRE few hours we were there. But this tiome I prayed. And I prayed HARD!

Soup

Which upcoming movie are you excited about seeing?

Spiderman 3, even though it's not UPcoming. It's already out.

Salad
Name an item you try to always have on hand.

Just one? There are so many, so pulling out of my hat, the award goes tooooo....... CHOCOLATE! I mean chocolate is VERY important. It's a wonderful mood enhancer, especially when Aunt Flo's intown. Yes, chocolate is very important.

Main Course
Imagine the most relaxing room you can think of. Now describe it!

A comfy bed. Silence. No kids. No alarm clock. A sign on the wall that says "Sleep all you'd like."

Dessert
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest), how spiritual or religious are you?

Well.... I TRY to be a 10, but sometimes I fail miserably.

I enjoyed your feast.

Sometimes we just can't hold it together and put on the brave face, can we?

And sorry about that big mixing bowl! Doh! I'd cry, too.

The much requested COUPON BINDER! A how-to pictorial

First you start with a LARGE 3-ring binder . I was able to get about a dozen of these for 50-75¢ each at a thrift shoppe, brand new. Mine are from a business complete with logo, but that's ok. 50-75¢ sure beats 8 bucks at Wal-mart. Plus mine DOES have a front pocket, in case I want to make it a bit purtier. Some people prefer a zippered binder. These are GREAT if you can afford the dough for a LARGE one. This one is especially great as it has a handle for carrying. You'll also need some pocket pages . I prefer the 4-per-page pages. The pockets are a little bigger, which is GREAT for those LONG coupons (which stick out, so I fold them in half) and those WIDE coupons, and especially for holding more coupons than their miniature counterparts! Now others have had luck with other pages. They come in 1-pocket (also known as sheet protectors, which we'll be using as well- we'll get to that later), 2 pocket, 4-pocket, 5-pocket, 6-pocket, 8-pocket; 9-pocke t. Anything with more...
