Oh I'm so excited!

My garden groweth! Here are some new pics:

If you look towards the back, past the big green plant, you can see some small green babies. Those are my cuke plants. You should be able to click on each picture for a larger view:

I've also got a few carrots sprouting and am waiting impatiently for my bell peppers to sprout. I'm so psyched!!! God is wonderful. He has rained blessings upon us and our small garden. I pray he continues to do so!!!

Edited to add- I also have basil coming up!

I found you by way of Tackle it Tuesday. I'm very new to vegetable gardens, and I have my garden in boxes like you, but I'm wondering what the chicken wire is for? Last year our garden did well early on, but by the end of the summer we'd lost our melons and gourds to bugs. We sprayed something our local nursery gave us, but it was too little too late. Any advice?

First you start with a LARGE 3-ring binder . I was able to get about a dozen of these for 50-75¢ each at a thrift shoppe, brand new. Mine are from a business complete with logo, but that's ok. 50-75¢ sure beats 8 bucks at Wal-mart. Plus mine DOES have a front pocket, in case I want to make it a bit purtier. I've moved!!!

In order to simplify, I'll be getting rid of most of my blogs & just downsizing my internet network.
