I bought fabric awhile back to make napkins for my fine china set. When I got it home, there was NO way it was going to match and look nice. So I stashed it away. It's gorgeous fabric anyway, so definitely not a loss. I decided to make a curtain for my "Victorian Eclectic" bathroom. The fabric spread on my dining table to be ironed (I didn't feel like dragging the ironing board upstairs! LOL) A close up of this beautiful toile! The original and BLAND curtain. I made this out of a sheet several years ago. You can see it got quite wonky over the years! The new and improved, and if I may say so myself, BEAUTIFUL new curtain! There is a "pouf" at the top. I plan on stuffing it if I can find my air pillows for packing. I keep them in case I need them to pack something breakable. However, I think they'll go nicely in my valance part of the curtain!

My Hubster thinks I've lost my mind! I bought this school accessory item thingie brand new in the pkg for a buck at a thrift shoppe a couple months ago. Since we homeschool I figured we'd be able to institute into something. Well, I have thought of something. Not quite what we had in mind, but I'm so excited cuz it works!!!!! I ABC my coups into piles, then put each letter pile into date order before adding to my spread. Instead of having piles of q's all over my dining table like I normally do, I stick them in ABC order in this, then all I have to do is yank out each letter pile one at a time to resort by date and record. As you can see I do 4 "piles" on each row, ending with product that start with a # instead of a letter, then WYB's, freebies and multi-product. Good thing about this (especially with having 3 boys) is if I need to put it away for something, I can just roll it up and stick it somewhere til I get back to them and I don't have to worry ...

He sat still for the most part and didn't cry til she busted out the hair dryer to blow hair off of him. Then he lost it! But he got a sucker, so he was happy!!! Itsa itsa THING!!!! Would you believe it was SNOWING a few days ago and today it's 67º ?!?!?!? I'm soooo confoozled! So are my poor pitiful buds. They've started budding. Have been for a few weeks now. I fear they'll not bloom this year. They're as foozled as me! BUT on a high note, the boys are thoroughly enjoying the couple-few hours they've been able to play outside each day lately . But then so've I. It's been nice and quiet inside with only the Baby! We picked up some more on HS'ing today and we did some good ol' relaxed living room floor work! The boys were laughing as we learned a bit o' Spanish. I'm thrilled and amazed at the rate they suck things up, and even moreso, the fact that they WANT TO!!!! We had new neighbrs move in the house next door a couple weeks ago. Luckily 2 of the boys are 10, so close in age to Seb. Though I hardly see one of them. Sebastion and Tristen enjoy playing with the other.

I want to start by saying I tried to post an entry on the 8th. I spent almost an hour typing, uploading pics and formatting the entry to my liking. Then the phone rang and DH picked up the ONE phone in the house that does NOT have an internet filter on it and I lost EVERYTHING! So anyhoosers, prayer has totally enveloped me the past few days. I have had 2 issues to deal with. I feel I have dealt with them prayerfully and have felt in abundance the leading hand of the Lord. Now let me tell you, the 1st issue did NOT start that way. But it was with that initial start that I realised I have a strong tendency to go straight for the throat and I will make every attempt to abolish that sinful way of thought!
